Photo Update: Mother's Day 5/11/2014

A tour around the garden. This is gonna be a long photojournal but I gotta do it at least a couple of times per month. Let's start with the balcony (deck? balcony sounds better :-)

We have...........Japanese Sky Pencil, Sequoia Strawberry, White Empress Verbenas, Lemon Tree #1(no lemons), Arbequina Olive, Lemon Tree #2 (5 growing lemons) with a Spikes Dracaena, Red Salvia, the beginning buds of Black-Eyed Susan seeds in a hanging planter that I thought would NEVER sprout.

Random April Photos 2014

Since everything's planted and growing, I'm going to take photos monthly from here on out -  and every 2 weeks during summer. Here are some random close-ups from the garden that I took in April around Easter (that was April 20th). They are, in order: the Concord grape vine, the Italian Cypress, The South, Middle and North Skyrocket Juniper trees and a group photo. Heh.

The tower on the right is for climbing runner beans and sweet peas. The terra pot on the left has iris bulbs in it.

Our littlest one, Eve, is the same age as the Italian Stone Pine: one year old. Here's a picture for posterity - I will take one picture each spring as they grow.
